They are also context sensitive, so if, for example, you see a dialogue icon appear, stop what you were doing and talk to your partner before missing the moment. Sometimes they will automatically play after unlocking a story event, but other times they require you to perform a specific action in a specific location. There are 36 non-essential dialogues to the story, but they often provide insight into the characters. These are points of interest that Nathan will mark with a drawing or a small description in his diary – an interesting stone, a singular building – and there are 25 to collect.įinally, we have the Optional Conversations. The third type is represented by Diary Notes. They are not as numerous (only 23), but they are not easy to find either. They consist of hidden sheets of paper with tricks similar to those of the Treasures. They are physical objects of interest scattered around the world of the game: sometimes they will be right in sight, but more frequently they will be hidden in hard to reach places, and you can notice them by their glitter.
